Teledyne Mattituck Services is happy to announce the addition of the 210 horsepower TMX IO-390 counter-weighted, angle valve engine to the TMX Experimental Aircraft Engine Series.

 

The all new part TMX-390 includes a counterweighted crankshaft and the latest roller tappet technology available from Textron Lycoming.

 

The TMXIO-390 engine producing 210 horsepower is attractively priced at $31,960.00 outright and complete with new Unison/Slick magnetos, new Unison/Slick ignition harness, new Unison/Slick spark plugs, new lightweight Sky-Tec starter, new Lycoming fuel pump and a complete new Precision Airmotive SilverHawk EX or Airflow Performance EX fuel injection system.

This Pricing includes the TMX RED-GOLD performance enhancement package as well as a three year comprehensive warranty

 

The TMX IO-390 incorporates larger displacement cylinders than the standard Lycoming IO-360 Angled valve engines and thus is able to produce 10 more horsepower then the standard 360 cubic inch engine. These cylinders along with all other parts used in and on the TMX IO-390 engine are 100% brand new. While the majority of the parts used on the engine are certified and FAA approved, the crankcase and fuel injection systems used on the TMX IO-390  are not certified.

 

The TMX 390 is available with all of the standard TMX engine configuration options that are available to the other TMX series Lycoming style engines.
